Usability and User Experience Services

Louise Ferguson is a London-based consultant offering usability and user experience consultancy in the UK and throughout Europe. Services include user research, usability testing, usability evaluation, training in human-centred approaches to design and strategic systems consulting.

From quick expert usability assessments to in-depth ethnographic user research or longer-term integration of user-centred approaches to system or service design, her services are tailored to the needs of each project.

News

• Over the summer, I'll be speaking at the Designers in Health Network conference, at Scottish UPA, at MemCom, and at People Inspired Innovation 2005. I'll also be chairing one of the Open Tech 2005 sessions.

• The UPA Voting and Usability Project has now merged with the AIGA Design for Democracy project. We're now D4D, and I'll be Director of the UK Voting Initiative.

• I'm now part of the Intranet Benchmarking Forum, contributing on the user evaluation side of the house. IBF members are made up of FTSE100 firms and major public sector clients.

• I've taken part, as an expert contributor, to the Design Council/IPPR project Touching the State. Touching the State is focusing in its first phase on voting, jury service and citizenship processes. Others contributors include Patrick Dunleavy (LSE), Richard Allen MP, Stephen Coleman (OII) and Deyan Sudjic.
