AIGA Experience Design - main AIGA-Experience Design list.

AIGA Experience Design London - list for UK AIGA announcements only. Notifies forthcoming AIGA events in London, all of which are free but need to to booked.

Anthrodesign - individuals interested in anthropology and design, and in the role of applied anthropology in the corporate, public sector, and medical contexts. Not all list members are anthropologists, but group members share the common interest of applying ethnographic techniques and social sciences theory to industrial, software, and other types of product design.

Association of Internet Researchers - has a discussion list, AIR-L.

British HCI Group - list for HCI announcements only, mainly relating to the UK. Jobs, conferences and other events, calls for papers. Batches of messages generally go out on Fridays.

Cadius - information architecture and usability list in Spanish.

Caltech Votingtech - US-focused e-voting discussion.

e-mint - list aimed at online community specialists in the UK. E-mint hosts monthly meetings in central London - see the events page.

EPA - UK list for people interested in electronic publishing issues.

InfoDesign Cafe - unmoderated information design list.

Interaction Architects - got off the ground in August 2002 as a result of an article from Tog. Now being pushed forward by Challis Hodge. Discussing the future and naming of the profession.

London-IA - a community of London/other UK-based information architects...

London Usability - mostly web-oriented, unmoderated, usability people. Quite a lot of crossover with UK UPA members.

SIGIA-L - large, busy and unmoderated information architecture list.

STC usability SIG - US list providing a forum for technical communicators interested in usability.

UCD - A sometimes busy list on user-centred design, user interface design, web design, HCI and usability, run by William Hudson.

UCD-DIGEST - digest-only version of the UCD list.

UPA-evoting - devoted to discussion of e-voting technology (but not eGovernment). Aims to be international, with a number of European members.

UK Usability - general UK usability list run by Chinwag.

uvip - usability for visually impaired people

uvip-web-test - a discussion list bringing together website developers concerned with accessibility concerns and users with visual impairments willing to act as testers.
